The Golondrinas (Hirondelles) vase brings together the most notable characteristics that led Lalique to be a clear representative of the Art Deco style. Characterized by its elegance and decorative delicacy, the vase is made of molded glass, generally in satin or partially opalescent finish, and presents a harmonious and balanced form, with smooth lines. Its most distinctive feature is the relief decoration of swallows in flight, which surround the body of the vase creating a sense of movement and lightness. These birds appear stylized, with wings extended and repeated in a rhythmic manner, integrating perfectly with the surface.
