A display bottle created to promote Guerlain’s Nahema Parfum fragrance. These types of pieces, typically produced in large sizes, were intended for display cases, perfume stores, and retail locations—not for cosmetic use. The piece features a sculptural, transparent design with a circular body, a semicircular base, and a spherical glass stopper, creating an elegant silhouette with a sense of visual lightness. It retains the gold inscription “parfum / Nahema / guerlain / Paris” on the front base.
Dummy bottles are part of a specialized collecting field linked to the history of perfumery, advertising, and major fashion houses. Their appeal lies both in their decorative value and in their role as promotional materials, designed to capture attention in store windows and commercial spaces. Since these are display items, many were removed, replaced, or discarded after the campaigns ended, which lends special appeal to the surviving examples, especially when they come from historic houses such as Guerlain.
