Measurements: 59 x 91 cm; 75 x 106,5 cm (frame).
Eduardo Flórez Ibáñez studied at the School of Fine Arts of San Fernando in Madrid. A disciple of Carlos de Haes, he specialized in landscape painting, although he also cultivated other themes such as genre painting, portraiture and composition. He participated in artistic contests and competitions, such as the one organized by the Society for the Promotion of the Arts in 1871, where he obtained a third class medal; the National Exhibition of Fine Arts in 1873, where he was awarded a copper medal; or those organized by the Society of Watercolorists of Madrid and the Fine Arts Circle of Madrid.
