Leopoldo García Ramón spent a long season in France, which would earn him the nickname of "el francesito" and would influence notably in his career. Impressionism, as well as the luminism represented by Joaquín Sorolla, are essential styles to understand his pictorial work. The atmospheric capture, the capture of the special luminosity of the Spanish Levant, are basic and defining elements of his style, of his way of painting, throughout his career. Some of Leopoldo García Ramón's works are kept in the Museum of Fine Arts of Valencia, as well as in important private collections.
