The Mirac chrome coat rack is a reference in the world of interior design and design. The spherical composition of the chromed hangers, arranged like stars in a constellation, creates a celestial image that is the origin of the name Mirac, the second brightest star in the constellation Andromeda, which inspired the designers JM Massanay JM Tremoleda. Mirac was selected for the ADI-FAD Delta Award in 1988. With the spiral arrangement of the hangers, which allows for a large capacity in a minimum of space, Mirac floor-standing coat racks offer a combination of practical design and space saving.

In 1968, JM Massana and JM Tremoleda, together with Jordi Domènech and Francesc Miravitlles, created "Equip de disseny". In 1973 they founded, with Mariano Ferrer, Mobles 114. A firm whose values include environmental impact from the very beginning. The editor herself states "Aware that the design phase is where most influence can be had, we think of a global vision, which transcends the product, to influence the production and distribution phases".
