Yngve Ekström's Gracell chairs are a classic of mid-century Scandinavian design. They are characterized by their simplicity, lightness and the elegance of their lines, following Ekström's philosophy of combining aesthetics, functionality and craftsmanship. They have a very refined silhouette, with slender, tapered legs that accentuate their sense of lightness.
Designer Yngve Ekström was a Swedish architect, carpenter and furniture designer, one of the key figures who made the "Scandinavian Modern" movement famous worldwide.
