Set of six chairs with chromed metal and leather structure.
In the town of Eimbeckhausen, near Hannover, Friedrich Hahne and Christian Wilkening established a factory dedicated to the production of chairs. In time, the surnames of the two founders gave rise to the name of the company: Wilkhahn. Using wood from nearby forests, they began to manufacture solid beech chairs, noted for their high quality. In the early days, however, the company did not stand out from the numerous small and medium-sized chair factories in the region, which numbered around a hundred.
