Pair of Sputnik wall hangers in Space Age style, in the futuristic style of Osvaldo Borsani. Their shapes evoke the famous Soviet satellite Sputnik, with a central sphere from which tubular rods with small spheres at the ends emerge.

Space Age is the name given to the period in which the space race was launched, beginning in 1957 with the launch of Sputnik. This fever to conquer space also reached design, and during the sixties and seventies a decoration model was developed based on an idyllic vision of the future, and everything to do with spaceships, new technologies and innovative materials.
