Made of chromed metal, this floor lamp with circular base has three adjustable lampshades in red lacquered metal, each one independently adjustable, which allows directing the light according to the needs of the space. The contrast between the brightness of the chrome and the intensity of the red not only accentuates its visual presence, but also embodies the functional, experimental and futuristic spirit of Space Age design.
This movement, which emerged in the 1960s and 1970s, was inspired by technological advances and enthusiasm for space exploration, promoting an aesthetic of dynamic forms, polished surfaces and industrial materials. Within this trend, Italian design stood out for its balance between technical innovation and artistic sensibility, giving everyday objects a sculptural and visionary character.
