Spectacular floor lamp inspired by the famous “Palm Tree Floor Lamp” by Maison Jansen, one of the most iconic designs in 20th-century French interior design. Crafted entirely from gold-plated metal, it elegantly reproduces the silhouette of a tropical palm tree, transforming the lamp into a true sculptural element with a striking decorative impact.
Indirect light filters through the leaves, creating a warm play of reflections on the gold finish and enhancing the piece’s theatrical character. Its design, clearly inspired by Hollywood, combines exoticism, sophistication, and an extraordinary sense of ornamentation, making it a focal point for any interior.
The Palm Tree Lamp is one of the most recognizable creations associated with the world of Maison Jansen, the firm that popularized this model during the 1960s and 1970s. Its palm tree lamps went on to adorn some of the world’s most exclusive private residences, hotels, and public spaces, becoming a symbol of international luxury and the glamour of postwar French design.

Founded in Paris in 1880 by Jean-Henri Jansen, Maison Jansen was one of the most influential interior design firms of the 19th and 20th centuries. Its aesthetic language, based on a reinterpretation of French classicism enriched with exotic and contemporary influences, won over a distinguished international clientele, including the Kennedys, the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, Coco Chanel, the March family, and various European royal houses. Today, its designs remain undisputed benchmarks of high-end interior design and are highly prized by collectors of 20th-century furniture and design.
