The Accademia lamp is a maximum exponent of refined minimalism. It fuses geometry, functionality and an exquisite material sensibility, typical of Italian design of the 1970s. The flat diffuser attenuates the light and allows a soft and homogeneous illumination.

Boeri made several pieces in the Accademia collection: small and large wall sconces, and this table version. In all of them, the minimalist and refined essence that defines Boeri's work shines through.

Throughout her career, Italian designer Cini Boeri has won numerous awards, including the Compasso d'Oro in 1979 and the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Italian Cultural Institute in Los Angeles in 2008.
