The lamp in tender responds to the Italian mid century aesthetics. It is governed by a lacquered metal lampshade in an aqua green or turquoise tone. Its shape is a double cone (or diabolo), the upper end being narrower and more stylized than the lower one, which opens to project the light. It rests on a base of three slender feet also made of brass. Each of the feet ends in a small ball joint or sphere, a typical detail of 1950s design that adds a decorative touch and stability.
