Table lamp inspired in the design of Louis C. Kalff. This piece is executed in brass and red lacquered metal, highlighted by a "U" shaped base from which emerges a stylized shaft of great slenderness. Its circular metal shade completes a silhouette that refers directly to the production of Louis C. Kalff, a key figure in industrial design. Kalff, a key figure in 20th century industrial design. Kalff, who was artistic director of Philips from 1946, was a pioneer in the integration of commercial advertising and product design, advocating the creation of centralized design departments for aesthetic and functional research.
