The model 211 chair by Ib Kofod-Larsen is a very sought after design by collectors due to the low number of copies made. It stands out for its walnut structure, with clean, organic lines, stylized legs and integrated armrests that visually extend the backrest; the braided wicker seat and backrest provide lightness, ventilation and a handcrafted character, while the slightly inclined backrest offers a comfortable and relaxed posture, resulting in an elegant, functional and timeless piece, very representative of Scandinavian modernism.

Ib Kofod-Larsen was a Danish designer who was active mainly during the 1950s and 1960s, creator of pieces today even more desirable than at the time of their production. Kofod-Larsen designed mainly storage and seating furniture for the Swedish market, although he was not a great success in his time because his organic design was too extreme for the taste of his time. In Denmark, on the other hand, his creations for the firm Faarup gained immediate recognition.
