DESCRIPTION
PIETRO AROSIO (Lissone, 1946) for Tachini.
Moon" armchair, 2000's.
Very heavy cast iron base, white lacquered polyurethane swivel structure and white leather upholstery.
Measurements: 89 x 83,5 x 73 cm.
The Moon armchair was designed by Pietro Arosio in the early 2000s. Its design clearly evokes the Space Age imaginary, reinterpreted from a current sensibility: fluid shapes, an almost futuristic look and a presence that recalls the plastic and visionary experiments of the design of the 60s and 70s.
It has an iron base that guarantees excellent stability, and a white polyurethane swivel structure that reinforces its refined and technological aesthetics. The white leather upholstery provides a soft and elegant contrast, underlining its timeless vocation.
Pietro Arosio is an Italian industrial designer. He trained as an architect at the Politecnico di Milano, where he developed a solid technical background combined with a clear sensitivity to contemporary design. Throughout his career he has worked closely with some of the most important Italian and international design firms, including Tacchini, Arflex, Cassina, Emmemobili, Poliform and B&B Italia, among others.
