Table lamp made around 1970, with base in white lacquered iron and large spherical opal glass diffuser. Its design of pure lines and geometric volume responds to the rational and futuristic aesthetics characteristic of European lighting of the late sixties and seventies, in the orbit of Italian Space Age design.

The combination of lacquered metal and translucent glass provides a warm and enveloping light, making it a decorative piece of marked sculptural and timeless presence.
