DESCRIPTION

JORDI VILANOVA i BOSCH (Barcelona, 1925-1998).
Set of 4 chairs "TER". Design from the 60's.
Black finish edition difficult to find in the market.
Measurements: 80 x 40 x 44 cm.

Set of 4 chairs model TER, designed by Jordi Vilanova i Bosch in the 1960s. A design of great elegance that gathers Art Deco influences, reinterpreted from a modern, precise and refined language. This version in black finish, especially difficult to find, enhances its sculptural character and visual presence, providing an unusual sophistication within the production of the model.

Vilanova is renowned for his mastery of woodworking and his contemporary reinterpretation of Mediterranean tradition. He trained in the Busquets workshop, later collaborating with Lluís Gili. He was awarded the Delta de Plata Prize (ADI/FAD, 1964) for the Delta stool. His work is represented in the Museu del Disseny de Barcelona, and among his most renowned designs are the Tiracord and Billar chairs, as well as the Tartera and Petit rocking chairs.
