Danish coffee table made in the seventies by H.M. Sofaborde, a manufacturer specialized in side and coffee tables, documented for its teak pieces with decorative ceramic tops. The present example combines a light teak structure, with smooth lines and elongated proportions, with a signed ceramic top that adds material richness and a marked handcrafted character.

The design stands out for the balance between the organic warmth of the wood and the ceramic surface, organized by a geometric composition of clear slabs with a central radiated motif. The oval teak frame, carefully rounded, softens the presence of the whole and reinforces the Scandinavian taste for functional and elegant forms.
