The chaise longue "Flugstol", designed by Erik Krogh, is a unique piece within the Danish design of the late twentieth century. Its name, which can be translated as "flying chair", alludes to the structural lightness and the sensation of suspension transmitted by its inclined profile, conceived for rest from a functional and experimental point of view.

Architect, designer, teacher and writer, Erik Krogh focused much of his work on the relationship between furniture, body and space. This chaise longue reflects that interest through an adjustable structure that combines a tubular stainless steel base, a wooden frame and a black canvas seat, achieving a balance between technical precision, ergonomics and formal sobriety. The red details introduce a graphic accent that reinforces its modern character.

Produced in a limited edition, the EK9001 is Krogh's most recognized work and appears in specialized literature on Danish design, such as Danish Chairs by Noritsugu Oda.
