The Oslo floor lamp is highly regarded for its three staggered circular slats that distribute light to create a diffused effect, shielding the viewer from direct light and thus creating a comfortable atmosphere.
After studying architecture, Swedish designer Kurt Norregaard worked as a consultant for Louis Poulsen, where he developed a keen interest in indoor and outdoor lighting. Over the years, he served as product manager and production manager for the Poul Henningsen lamp series. His best-known designs are the famous Oslo wall and ceiling lamps.
Louis Poulsen was founded in Denmark in 1874 and is one of the most renowned lighting manufacturers in history. Louis Poulsen Lighting is represented by subsidiaries, distribution offices, and agents worldwide. Its main sales regions are Scandinavia, Europe, Japan, and the United States. The most renowned Scandinavian designers have created works for Louis Poulsen. Among them are Arne Jacobsen and Poul Henningsen.
