Conceived as a continuous form, this table reflects the experimentation with synthetic materials that revitalized Spanish furniture design during the 1970s and 1980s. The fiberglass allows the tabletop, skirt, and legs to be visually integrated into a structure of gently rounded profiles, light in appearance despite the boldness of its volume.

The tabletop, defined by a discreet perimeter rim, combines functionality with geometric clarity. The red lacquer finish intensifies its sculptural presence and aligns the piece with the colorful, optimistic language of pop design, while the absence of accessory elements maintains a rigorous and refined aesthetic.

Enric Gil’s body of work includes experimental furniture made of fiberglass, as well as metal designs for the firm Disform, characterized by structural simplification and the expressive use of industrial materials.
