This ceiling lamp, made in Italy during the 1970s, reflects the innovative spirit of Space Age design—a movement that, beginning in the 1960s, explored new forms inspired by technology, the space race, and a futuristic vision of the home. During this period, Italian designers experimented with industrial materials such as chrome-plated metal, plastics, and opal glass, seeking to create functional objects with a distinct sculptural presence.The piece features a spherical white opal glass shade, supported by a metal structure with side mounts that allow its orientation to be adjusted, adapting the direction of the light to the needs of the space.
