In very good overall condition. The light has been rewired. It exhibits very sligthly wear consistent with age and use and a patina that is consistent with its age, with no significant issues visible to the naked eye.

Introduced in 1968, the “Semi” ceiling lamp is one of the undisputed icons of Scandinavian design from the second half of the 20th century. Conceived by Danish architects Claus Bonderup and Torsten Thorup for the prestigious firm Fog & Mørup, this piece synthesizes the formal purity of Nordic design with the technological optimism that defined the aesthetics of the Space Age. The lamp was created after winning first prize in a competition organized by the School of Architecture at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, where both designers were students.
