Co-founder of the BDN Sculpture workshop, and director since its inception in 2005 until 2020, Josep María Camí began his artistic career as a sculptor in the 60s. Throughout his career he has participated in more than thirty exhibitions, both individual and collective. In addition to combining his exhibition facet, with his work as a teacher. His works are characterized by the use of various materials such as stone, wood, iron, as well as organic resources. Divided into conceptual series, his artistic works often allude to the human body and nature from a metaphorical point of view and an abstract aesthetic. Currently, his work can be found in numerous private and public collections, highlighting his works in urban spaces such as; Batea, Portugal, Ecuador, South Korea, Lebanon, Taiwan and Puerto Rico.
