Takao Inoue is a multidisciplinary creator, designer, cinematographer and sculptor based in Japan. His early career as a cinematographer left its mark on his sculptural concept, in the play of light and transparency, as seen in his flowers and dandelions encapsulated in glass cubes. While exploring lighting, he came across the design of Shiro Kuramata, which made a great impression on him and inspired him to start designing. He has founded "The Lighting Art Gallery" with the support of the Yamagiwa Art Foundation. He is dedicated to the development of OLED design.
