Trained at the École Supérieure des Arts Saint-Luc in Brussels, where he studied industrial design, Marc D'Haenens has developed a distinctive style characterized by clean lines, high quality materials and meticulous attention to detail. His work has been exhibited at numerous design fairs and galleries around the world, and some of his creations have become part of the permanent collections of contemporary art museums. In this wall sculpture he combines the organic character of agate with the metallic look of brass.
