This sculpture of the French school of the 20th century presents an abstract human figure, built with a playful and expressionist approach. The piece is made of a clear, painted material, with a black outline that delimits the irregular shapes that make up the body.
The figure has exaggerated and disarticulated proportions, with an expressive face composed of curved and geometric lines that suggest eyes, nose and mouth in a schematic way. The arms and legs appear to be fragmented or assembled with organic and asymmetrical forms, giving a dynamism characteristic of modernist or neo-expressionist aesthetics.
The style of the sculpture is reminiscent of art brut, with a clear intention to explore the simplicity of forms and the expressiveness of the thick stroke. The piece is supported on a rectangular base, which gives it stability and enhances its sculptural presence.
