ENOSA was created within the National Institute of Industry (INI) during the Franco dictatorship. Initially, its main objective was the construction of precision instruments for the army, but over time it diversified its production towards the scientific and educational fields. Between the 1950s and 1970s, ENOSA produced a wide variety of didactic materials, including anatomical models, reaching a high level of sophistication.
