The sculpture, in patinated bronze, stands out for the expressiveness of the irregular finish that accentuates the textures of the surface. The female figure, standing, holds against her chest a bouquet of flowers that seem to merge with her face, resulting in an ambiguous and singular image. The surface is expressionist, rough, with a gestural modeling that prioritizes emotion over anatomical detail. The torsional movement of the body and the energetic texture evoke the work of Rodin or certain passages of Manolo Hugué and the contemporary Catalan school.
