Miquel Oslé began in the industrial sculpture workshop of Josep Bofill, later moving to the Masriera i Campins foundry. He also worked with Josep Llimona and Josep Montserrat, always with his brother Llucià, also a sculptor. Throughout his career, Oslé participated in numerous official exhibitions and competitions, being awarded with honorable mention in the National Fine Arts of Barcelona in 1896, first medal in its 1907 edition and the same award in Madrid in 1906. He also made public monuments such as the fountain of the Plaza de España in Barcelona (1929).
