Figure of Christ made in the workshops of Olot at the end of the 19th century, in stuccoed and polychrome wood. The work responds to the models of serial imagery typical of this production, characterized by a contained naturalism and an accessible devotional expression, destined to a wide public. The careful polychromy and the idealized treatment of the face reinforce its religious character, in accordance with the liturgical and devotional function for which it was conceived.
