Mural ceiling composed of glazed ceramic plates that form an abstract composition of strong material character, representative of the Spanish decorative production of the seventies. The work is part of the current of integration between art and architecture typical of the period, where ceramics acquire prominence as a plastic support of great expressiveness.

The modeled relief and the organic treatment of the surfaces generate a dynamic play of light and shadow, accentuated by a rich range of glazes in earthy, green and bluish tones. The fluidity of the forms and the gesturality of the modeling refer to a sensibility close to informalism and lyrical abstraction, very present in the Spanish art scene of the time.

The CEAMIC firm suggests a production linked to workshops specialized in artistic and decorative ceramics, active during the boom of modern interior design in Spain. This type of soffits, conceived as large-format mural pieces, responded to the demand for contemporary spaces that sought to incorporate works of a plastic nature integrated into the architecture.

The ensemble constitutes a significant example of the dialogue between applied arts and artistic language in Spain in the second half of the 20th century.
