Four dying Christs of varying styles and materials, representative of 20th-century devotional imagery. The group includes pieces in carved wood, wood paste, bronze, and enamel, allowing for an appreciation of different formal styles. The two larger wooden Christs stand out, with their pronounced frontal orientation and schematic anatomies, featuring outstretched arms and simplified veils of purity. The smaller enameled bronze piece introduces a more decorative element through the use of gilded metal and enameled details, while the dark statuette displays a more intense expressiveness, reinforced by the patina and the linear treatment of the torso.
