Xavier Guardans is a fine art photographer whose work explores nature and light. Whether landscapes or portraits, his works capture the essential beauty found in each of his subjects. His photography is characterized by impressive technical and aesthetic skill, a talented sense of composition, and an underlying sensibility of a distinctive and uncommon humanism. Born in Barcelona, Spain, Guardans studied photography at Bournemouth and Poole College of Art. He spent his early career as a commercial photographer working in Japan, Europe and the United States with clients ranging from fashion and lifestyle publications to corporations and non-profit organizations. profit. It was through his widespread travels over long periods of time, that his fascination with light and nature took hold, and he began to produce series of photographs of it. After more than twenty years living and working in New York, Guardans now lives with his family in Mallorca, Spain.
