Scarlet Berner lives in Munich. She initially studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, where she is a favorite pupil of Rudi Tröger. She has held solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions since 1982. She is often involved in photography projects applied to institutional architecture. She receives the sponsorship award for photography from the city of Munich.
