Member of the Royal Photographic Society, Mercedes Pérez de Lema is a computer engineer by profession, but a photographer by heart and passion. Self-taught, she considers photography her medicine and the vehicle with which she expresses visually her inner world, that which words cannot describe. In recent years, she has worked mainly with analog photography, attracted by the magic and creativity of the whole process, from the development of negatives to the printing of prints. Her discreet and introverted nature is balanced by an inquisitive mind full of curiosity. Through photography, he finds the unspoken words that inhabit his inner self: a dreamy, sometimes surreal, metaphorical and melancholic universe. With each click, he seeks to decipher a mystery and capture his unique vision of the world.
