Miguel Trillo stands as one of the indisputable references of contemporary Spanish photography, recognized for his exhaustive documentation of youth culture and urban subcultures. Due to the solidity of his career and his international repercussion, he is considered one of the most outstanding figures in his field. During the 1980s, at the height of the Movida Madrileña, Trillo made its anonymous protagonists his primary focus. In the early nineties, he broadened his gaze to portray Spanish youth in small provincial capitals. His work has been exhibited in prestigious venues such as the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid and the Centro Andaluz de Arte Contemporáneo in Seville. His work is also part of important public and private collections in Spain, including those of the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid and the Foto Colectania Foundation in Barcelona.
