"Nest (Multindus)" belongs to a stage in which Jaume Plensa intensely investigates the relationship between image, word and everyday object. The work is based on a photograph of a telephone -a symbol of communication- on which the artist intervenes by means of a stencil, incorporating isolated and blurred letters in the margins of the composition.

The use of the stencil introduces a typographic element that dialogues with the mechanical image, generating a tension between the industrial and the poetic. The letters, barely visible and suspended in space, refer to one of the central axes of Plensa's work: language as an invisible structure that connects individuals.

The title, Nest, suggests the idea of refuge or intimate nucleus, in contrast to the telephone as an external connection device. The work thus combines photography and manual gesture, constructing a hybrid piece in which communication, silence and presence intertwine in a visual reflection on language and memory.
