Handwritten, dated, and signed by the artist.
Addressed to Rafael del Río, in Barcelona. With postmark and post office stamp.
Shows signs of oxidation and slight wear along the edges.

The piece combines an original composition by Gili Roig with a handwritten message from the artist. The scene, featuring two female figures amid plant motifs and references to wine, reflects the Symbolist decorative style cultivated by the artist in his graphic work.
A painter and illustrator trained in Barcelona, Madrid, Munich, and Rome, Gili Roig contributed to publications such as *L’Esquella de la Torratxa* and, at the same time, developed a distinguished career as a painter. His work is represented in the Prado Museum.
