Aldo Cipullo (1935-1984) was a visionary designer who revolutionized jewelry in the 1970s with his modern and industrial creations. He came to New York from Italy and worked for Cartier, where he was the only designer allowed to stamp his own signature alongside that of the brand, giving these pieces a unique collector's status. His philosophy focused on creating jewelry with "function, purpose and meaning," transforming everyday objects such as screws, anchors or the knot of these earrings into symbols of luxury and desire. His legacy includes the iconic Love bracelet and the Juste un Clou collection, and his work is part of the permanent collection of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington D.C.
