Illustrated treatise on horsemanship and horse training. Francisco de Laiglesia y Darrac was a Spanish military man, poet and amateur lexicographer, active during the first half of the 19th century. His most notable lexicographical work consisted of a dictionary of his own design inserted in his Nuevo Newkastle, or "Tratado nuevo de la escuela de a caballo", a translation from French of a work originally written in English. The Andalusian repertory has some 400 entries, consisting of both voices and expressions, arranged alphabetically.
