Pair of LEGRAS lamps. France, ca. 1850.
Gilt bronze and crystal.

Pair of lamps dating from the mid-nineteenth century characterized by its distinguished design. The base of each of them takes the form of a hand holding the lampshade manufactured by the firm Legrás. The lampshades are embellished with floral motifs that are superimposed on the opalescent background. The pieces are crowned with torch holders in the purest Empire style.
