Chest of drawers-bureau of two registers, of Swedish invoice, in walnut root veneer. It dates from the middle of the 18th century, in the middle of the rococo period, which can be appreciated in the bombé body and the cabriole legs, which describe a sinuous and dynamic profile. It combines walnut root veneer and boxwood and rosewood marquetry, in fillets and beautiful rhomboidal checkerboard compositions covering the sliding lid. It protects an interior with drawers and niches for stationery, while functioning as a desk top. The chest of drawers houses two large drawers, with bronze handles and keyholes in a foliate design.
