This 18th century jewelry box exudes the opulence and sophistication of the Ottoman Empire. Its design is both sturdy and delicate, sitting on small legs that elevate it slightly. It is completely covered with intricate inlay, where wood is combined with tortoiseshell and mother-of-pearl inlays.
