English Georgian style dining table and chair set, ca. 1950.
Mahogany wood (probable), leather upholstery and bronze details.
Condition according to its use and age, with visible wear on the leather -especially on the seats-, as well as light marks on the wood and patina on the metal elements.

Elegant dining set of English Georgian inspiration, composed of an oval table and ten seats: eight chairs and two armchairs. The table, made of dark-finished wood, has a smooth top and stands on three tripod-like supports, with curved legs topped with bronze claw-shaped satins, a characteristic motif of the classic English repertoire.
The chairs and armchairs, of wood structure, have turned front legs and gently curved rear legs. The backs and seats are upholstered in dark red leather with capitonné decoration, topped with exposed nails, evoking traditional English models. The armchairs incorporate curved arms with turned supports, reinforcing their character as headboard pieces.
The set responds to the reinterpretation of Georgian models characteristic of mid-twentieth century production, combining formal sobriety and quality materials, in line with the representative dining room furniture.
