Silver cast in its colour, with filigree.
Coloured glass with a print of Our Lady of Sorrows.
It has a handwritten text on the back.
It is in a good state of preservation.
Measurements: 10,5 x 8,5 x 1,5 cm.
Reliquary filigree with a picture of the Virgin of the Solitude. Window reliquary that can be used as a pendant, created in silver cast in its colour, whose filigree work depicts openwork flowers and a lobular profile border. The silverwork is notable for its delicate technique, resulting in a delicate ornamentation.
Reliquaries of this type were common from the Gothic period onwards, used to contain relics of saints. It should be remembered, however, that at that time practically any item that had been in contact with the saint or his mortal remains (cloths, burial soil, etc.) was considered to be a holy relic. The best examples were made of precious metals.
