Sterling silver crucifix that works as a recipient for the Holy Oils, as a crucifix, a liturgical object designed for the administration of sacraments, such as baptism and anointing of the sick. Thus, these crucifixes fulfilled a practical function as well as a symbolic one, since they used to have an internal compartment with a small upper opening, destined to hold a small amount of consecrated oil.
