Technical boxes of professional compasses manufactured in the mid-nineteenth century. The set includes a wide range of precision drawing tools made of steel, with bone finishes and porcelain saucers. They are presented in their original wooden cases lined in imitation leather, with burgundy velvet lining. Among the pieces are several radial compasses, drawing straightedges, adapters, moustaches and dividers, as well as rulers and squares. This type of box was intended for professional use in architectural, civil engineering and technical cartography studios.
