Complete technical box of professional compasses by C. Riefler, one of the most recognized European scientific instrument makers of the XIX and XX century. The set includes a wide range of precision drawing tools made of steel, with bone finishes and articulated mechanisms. It is presented in its original wooden box lined in imitation leather, with black velvet lining. Among the pieces are several radial compasses, line pullers, adapters, moustaches and dividers, among other specialized accessories. This type of box was intended for professional use in architectural, civil engineering and technical cartography studies.

Founded in 1841 by Clemens Riefler, this Bavarian firm specialized in drawing instruments of the highest precision, known for their durability, mechanical smoothness and meticulous finish. Since the end of the 19th century, Riefler established itself as a supplier to technical institutions and universities in Europe and America, and was also recognized for its precision pendulum clocks - used in observatories and laboratories - and for its participation in international industrial fairs. Its compasses, manufactured to the highest standards, stand out for their modular construction, the quality of their materials and a mechanical precision that is difficult to match even today.
