French 19th century writing desk composed of an inkwell, a stamp and a bookmark. All the pieces are based on the same aesthetic with a glass body finished in a green color and gilded bronze appliques for ornamentation. It is interesting to note these sconces, as they recreate elements of classical antiquity; in the inkwell we can see a garland with Greek cups, while in the seal and the bookmark are arranged the figures of a winged woman, like the sirens of antiquity, and arranged as a caryatid.
